We worked with Christy while living out of town to buy a house in Ocean Isle, NC. She was FANTASTIC! She checked in regularly during the buying/closing process and let us know the status. She stood up on our behalf with seller and made sure things were done right. Best and easiest real estate transaction we have ever done.

Christy is a very sweet and down to earth realtor. She is personable with her clients and she made every day we went to look at houses fun. She is so patient and easily dealt with our spousal differences when deciding what we wanted in our new home. She was also very patient when it came to my frustrations with the VA loan process and tried very hard to help me get answers even though it was the lender's job. Christy was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the entire home buying process. She knew exactly what resources I would need and walked me through everything, as this was my first time purchasing a home. She answered the phone every time I called, even when it was 10 times in a day! Christy still checks up on me, even though I bought the house almost 2 years ago. "Christy is truly exceptional! We met her last summer while trying to find a condo to use as a potential rental property. But then life took a turn for us once Hurricane Florence hit. We evacuated and found out our home had 4+ feet of water in it. It was inaccessible for weeks. While we were in a different state waiting for the water to go down, Christy pitched in and helped without hesitation, hardly even knowing us at this point. She went above and beyond just being realtor. She kept us informed, helped find us a rental home, and truly became a great friend in the process. Over the course of this year, she was able to sell our home to an investor, and show us SO MANY homes for our future. She came to each showing prepared with the home info/stats/comps/etc. Her patience, enthusiasm, kindness, and knowledge truly got us where we are today. We now have a beautiful home that we love! We added a new member to our family during this time and Christy was there every step of the way making sure we got settled in before his arrival. Christy not only is an awesome realtor, she is now a great friend who continues to check in on us. Seeing how Christy has helped our family,our friends and family now utilize her. She helped my in-laws purchase a home while they are living in a different state, and is continuing to work with our friends to find their dream home. Patience is the word that comes to mind when I here Christy's name. My wife and myself drug her from here to there on several occasions. She was always upbeat and helped us find our home. My family moved from Chicago to Wilmington in August 2018. Christy was extremely helpful from the 1st day we spoke on the phone while I was still in Chicago. She asked questions that helped her get to know our lifestyle in regards to home options and location. Christy was available to listen to my concerns all the time. Being overwhelmed with choices, Christy reminded me of my priority list and the reason I chose Wilmington. We found the perfect house. The bonus...Christy has become one of our dearest friends.

We loved working with Christy!! We were the biggest pain in the rear clients and she was so helpful to us throughout our homebuying journey. Every time we went to look at houses she was very upbeat and fun. Even when it was beginning to become frustrating that we hadn't found our home yet, she still made it worth going. My husband and I were very picky from the beginning but Christy was very patient with us. She was very optimistic which made us feel that way too. Negotiations were tough (as they probably always are) but Christy got us what we wanted from the seller and are very comfortable with the closing of our home. I would also like to mention that we were going through the VA loan process (super stressful). Our lender was driving me crazy with their needs and Christy took on as much of my workload for them as she could. She even did some of the lender's job. She wanted to make sure that the whole process was as stress free for us as possible. We have now been in our house for 3 months and we are thankful that we had Christy on our side. We will be using her (and recommending her) for all our realty needs.

Christy Carr worked with me for almost two years before I purchased a townhouse! She showed me numerous homes, even on weekends! If I had a question she didn’t know the answer to, she would track down the answer without hesitation, often times outside of work hours. She has been courteous and respectful without fail, and never made me feel as though my questions or showings were a burden. When purchasing my townhouse, she encouraged me to get an HVAC certification so it would be covered under my home warranty. I’m very glad I did because I have already had to use it when the drain line clogged and the drain pan overflowed. Christy is extremely familiar with the home buying process and provided me with many tips, especially when negotiating the price of my townhouse.I’m very thankful for Christy and can’t recommend her highly enough!

We loved Christy! Christy was very knowledgeable and protected us in the home buying process. She was very professional but so enjoyable to work with. She negotiated with the sellers to ensure our purchase was fair. We had an issue with an appliance in the first month of living in the house and thanks to the home warranty she had the sellers purchase for us during closing we were protected! We were so thankful she thought of the things that we didn’t during home searching, choosing the right home, and while under contract. She was an amazing realtor and I would and do absolutely recommend her to anyone I know!!
